Our consulting business operates for the benefit of all First Nation people in Alberta. Our mission is to support the growth and sustainability of Indigenous business through the development of management and governance capacity.

We provide business information sessions sharing key considerations to starting a business Our Indigenous Entrepreneur Training Program (six 90 minute modules developed with MacEwan University) provides entrepreneurs with insights to successful operation of their businesses

Winfire administers the Indigenous Women Entrepreneurs (IWE) Program for Alberta Indian Investment Corporation – offering the following support to our Indigenous women clients:

• Workshops, training and mentorship on business and entrepreneurship

• Business tools and resources that are tailored to reflect the culture and circumstances of Indigenous women

• Micro-Loan Fund Program that is intended to start or scale a business, made up of repayable and non-repayable contributions
